Go play outside!!

After spending 3 months in our houses because of the pandemic, it's time to enjoy outdoor activities and mother nature. Take a break from technology, pack a picnic and go biking or walk  to the beach where you could shell collecting, fishing, stargazing  or bird watching. Play outside will improve your self-esteem and boost your mental health.  Go play an outdoor game and have fun with your friends and family. Keep the social distance but go enjoy the hot weather.

What is yoga?

There are many types of yoga. You have to find your match among the many types, but yoga is not only for relaxation. It is a natural medicine that can improve your posture, your balance, and your digestion. This practice encourages you to move your body and stretch your muscles. It improves your blood circulation and reduces overthinking. Yoga releases joint pain and fatigue. You need consistency in your practice to see results. Yoga leads to transformation and can shift patterns you have developed over time.

Why practice yoga?

You practise yoga,  not for the teacher or the guru. You do it for how you feel after the class. A good session leaves you fresh and rejuvenated. Yoga increases your energy and improves your respiratory system through your breathing. Yoga releases anxiety and helps you believe in yourself. It is good for relieving sciatic nerves pain, shoulder and back pain or to clean your lungs.

Who can practice yoga?

Whatever is your size,  weight, body shape, religion, or colour skin, you can practice yoga. Single mom, unemployed, activist, CEO, Pastor and many more can benefit from yoga. You do not need to be flexible or stand on your head or put your leg around your neck or be fit to practice yoga. Seniors or Athletes can transform their lives with regular yoga practice. If you have a temporary/long term injury, limited mobility, or disability, you can practice in a wheelchair or on a chair if you need more support. Office workers can also take advantage of chair yoga. Yoga is for everybody. Do not be intimidated by Yoga, if you can breathe, you can do Yoga. Listen to your body and adapt the postures depending on your body type or limitation.
